Abdominoplasty
Abdominoplasty, known more commonly as a "tummy tuck," is a surgical procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdominal and in selected patients, to tighten the muscles of the abdomen wall. The procedure can dramatically reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen or a sad looking belly button. The best candidates for abdominoplasty are men or women who are in relatively good shape but are bothered by loose abdominal skin that won't respond to diet or exercise. The surgery is particularly helpful to women who, through multiple pregnancies, have stretched their abdominal muscles and skin beyond the point where the skin can return to normal. Redundant skin following successful weight loss can also be significantly improved by the surgery.

Breast
Breast augmentation uses an implant to increase breast size. It is usually done to balance a difference in breast size, to improve body contour, or as a reconstructive technique following surgery. A breast implant is a silicone shell filled with either silicone gel or a salt-water (saline) solution. Dr. Salomon has been an investigator on the silicone implant study and performs surgery with the latest available silicone or saline implants, including the "gummy bear" or form stable silicone implants. Augmentation surgery is common in women who have had breast shrinkage following childbirth as well as women who have always had small breasts.
For further information on breast implants, The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) have a website offering women objective and science-based information on breast implants surgery, including augmentation, reconstruction and revision. Breast lift (mastopexy) is a surgical procedure to raise and reshape sagging breasts. Breast implants can sometimes be inserted in conjunction with mastopexy. Symptom's usually start in a woman's thirties.
Breast reduction (mammaplasty) is a procedure to remove fat, glandular tissue, and skin from the breasts, making them smaller, lighter, and firmer. It can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple. The goal is to achieve relief of the symptoms of enlarged breasts (macromastia) by making smaller, better-shaped breasts in proportion with the rest of the body. The symptoms of macromasia usually involve back or neck pain. Some patients have signs of skin rashes under the enlarged breasts, shoulder grooves from bra strap marks, and poor posture. Symptoms of macromastia often begin during teenage years.
Eyelid Surgery
Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is a procedure to remove fat, usually along with excess skin and muscle, from the upper and lower eyelids. The surgery is done to correct the drooping skin and bulging fat bags that result in a tired appearance. Blepharoplasty can be done alone, or in conjunction with other facial surgery procedures such as a facelift or browlift. The lower lid surgery is often done without a visible skin incision. Upper lid surgery is often suitable to be done in the office! For those of you who have noticed thinning or loss of your eyelashes, Latisse® is a once a night topical medication that really works to thicken, lengthen and, darken your eyelashes in just 16 weeks.
Facelift
A facelift (rhytidectomy) can improve the most visible signs of aging by removing excess fat, tightening underlying muscles, and redraping the skin of the face and neck. A facelift can be done alone, or in conjunction with other procedures such as a forehead lift, eyelid surgery, or nose reshaping. A facelift can improve the deep cheek folds, jowls and loose, sagging skin around the neck that come with age.
Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia is a developmental condition that results in male breast enlargement. It is common in teenagers, sometimes just being transient and, in up to half of older men. The enlargement can usually be effectively treated in all age groups with a liposuction technique without the need for significant scars.
Nonsurgical alternatives are available having the benefit of little or no downtime. The treatments also have the convenience of being done in the office. Results take 4 to 6 weeks to evolve. Thermage radio frequency treatment can tighten the skin and ligthly contour the fat. Liposonix reliably reduces underlying fat by using the power of focused ultrasound to destroy a layer of fat approximately 1.3cm below the skin surface. Patients treated with Liposonix can enjoy a reduction in their jeans size!
Liposuction
Liposuction, also called lipoplasty or suction lipectomy, is a procedure that can help sculpt and contour the body by removing unwanted fat from specific areas, including the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck. Liposuction can remove stubborn areas of fat that don't respond to traditional weight-loss methods. Liposuction is often used in conjunction with face lift, neck lift, and tummy tuck surgery. Liposuction is also an important adjuvant treatment for massive weight loss patients.
Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty, or surgery to reshape the nose, is one of the most common of all plastic surgery procedures. Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of your nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip. It may also correct a birth defect or injury or help relieve some breathing problems.
